After completing the Farmhouse project in Kirkland for HCS Construction the new homeowner decided to bring us back in to make some additions to the new landscape. The front of the house will remain unchanged save for new LED path lights at the front steps. The back patio will be extended out to the concrete retaining wall to increase the over all seating area. In the northwest corner of the patio we planted a Bloodgood Japanese Maple to give the back patio a little added shade for the summer months as well as break up the paver patio with some added color. Once summer hits we will install some containers along the back wall to further brighten up the space. To finish things off we are installing a custom gas fire pit to make this smaller back yard a gathering spot everyone will enjoy. Currently the fire pit is fully framed and waiting to be tiled once the patio is finished. We are using a slim brick as a facing material and the cap piece will be constructed out of custom fabricated Pennsylvania bluestone.
